Basically it's suddenly exactly the same as before you switched to the IS backbone. Ping spikes, packet loss, and major buffering.
Has anyone else been having latency issues in the evenings recently? I get minor lag spikes and lag increases for a fair amount of time during peak (5-10 pm). Latency increases from 180ish to 250/300ish.
Eish. Not right at all. My time to investigate. Sorry, guys...
Might just be my exchange. It's been too inconsistent for me to swap ISPs mid game to check.
Also, when doing a standard ping www.bbc.co.uk, latency will appear normal even though it'll still be a bit higher in game![]()
OK, I can categorically state that the network has been under zero pressure that could in any way affect this. I've asked the tech guys for some feedback relating to the timeframe tonight on the network but I really don't think this was network related at all on our end. If it is, as usual I will let you guys know as it's something we'd need to remedy...

It seems to be another disappointing day of no-telkom-show. Of course I would normally lol this off, but paying for a product A being while having been reverted to product B is not fun.

When I contact telkom, telkom is still probing.
When I contact CW, telkom is still probing.
Unhappy place reached.
Its very simple, but not at a happy stage:
I request my line to be moved over to telkom from AH.
Line is transferred, but develops issues.
I request my line to be moved over to CW from telkom.
Line is transferred, issues gone, I get billed and told it was not transferred.
This is resolved and we move on.
I then request a line upgrade but due to CW being busy with the migration it does not happen.
The migration is over.
I remember CW to start requesting my line upgrade.
This happens when I tweeted telkom and CW succeeded.
Line is now dead.
I attempt support at CW who at one stage want me to put in telkom details to make sure its the line thats dead.
We finally get to a point where we log a FR.
I attempt to contact telkom on all frequencies.
Success technician comes out and completes the upgrade.
Line is finally upgraded and working at should.
Three days later the line upgrade is reverted.
No one knows why, telkom is probing.
I'm billed for an upgraded line.
When I contact telkom, telkom is still probing.
When I contact CW, telkom is still probing.
