I have the tp-link model: TD-W8960N
at WAN info it says

WAN Info
Interface Layer2 Info Type NAT IP Address Status & Trouble shoot Action & Shortcut
ppp0.1 ATM-8/35 PPPoE Enabled 0.0.0.0 PPP Down, No Response, check VPI/VCI,Encapsulation or Contact to ISP

'Check VPI/VCI,Encapsulation' what do they mean?

It should be activated by default but go to Advanced Setup>DSL>... then under DSL Settings make sure all the boxes are checked other than AnnexM enabled.

You can check what mode you in via Device info>Statistics>xDSL... first on the list at the top is Mode:

Thanks for all this info. Yup, everything is checked except AnnexM. My mode is ADSL_G.dmt. I should switch it to adsl? How do I switch?

MyBroadband chose to not publish our results as we're still a new entrant on the market, but they did disclose the results to us:

Value: 7.81
Network: 7.56
Support: 8.53
Average: 7.97

Based on these scores, we'd have come first as the overall top ISP in South Africa. Hopefully we're no longer considered a new entrant for the next round of selections.

Thank you to everyone who participated - we really do appreciate it, and we'll continue to push for better and better benchmarks in all departments.

AFAIK You can't. That's done automatically by Telkom provided their exchange supports that mode.

Being a new entrant in the market shouldn't be a reason to exclude CW. Perhaps the number of participants who rated CW was too low?

Perhaps. But in terms of market share, we still have a low % in comparison to other dominant players so it's not about numbers but rather % of your customer base who voted. Personally, this just means we need more customers to prove we're the best in the country right now, that's all. We're very chuffed either way, so thank you to all who voted, and it's not a big deal that it's not yet a published fact that we're the best ISP in SA as voted by our customers. We're pretty confident that we'll take a clean sweep in the next round. :D

I really do hope you are able to aggressively expand!! From the time of signing up over PM, to where we are now has always been a good experience for me. Yes there was the odd hiccup, but I can honestly say I'm glad I made the leap!

Congrats guys. If I were closer to you, I'd bring by some champagne :D

I have even more hope that the (inevitable) expansion doesn't cause a loss of the 'homely'/personal feel I currently have towards you :)

Spotted an issue - should be fixed very shortly. (Within an hour and a half - just doing some config changes)
