I’ve had a problem for quite the while now hoping it get better. My rain Wi-Fi has slowly become a disappointment to me as it become worse. About a month ago everything worked, green light on the router for both 4g and 5g. And up till today it still is, BUT is really slow? I’ve changed the connection mode to only 4g and yet still quite slow of up to 5-10 MBPS. Initially when I had gig the router it reached speeds of up to 150-200 MBPS. Anyone know what I should do? Should I consider to switch to a different provider?

Im having the exact same issue from beginning of July. Before this i used to average speeds in excess of 100mbps+ but now it barely reaches 20mbps and during peak hours drops to below 2mbps. Rain support is non existent after having logged over 4 calls. I'm thinking they throttling us? Im cancelling very soon due to their total lack of support

Anyway how do you switch between 4G and 5G because my router never switches to 4G?

In order to switch to 4g and keep it there ur going to have to switch it manually by looking at the bottom of ur router and typing the address in, for me and a example could be 192.1**.0.1 in which you would also type the password. From there coordinate to “my Wi-Fi” and you should find the selection to click 4g and or3g or 5g
