It is coming that time when I am going to take these pricks head on - so sick and fckuen tired of this

Yup lets call in the Marines !

Tried calling 082155 from landline - get the message "All our consultants are currently busy, Please call again later".
Thanks for nothing vodascum/vodacon/voda****ers.

Really this is completely unacceptable. Where is the REDUNDANCY in the Vodacom Network?

:confused::wtf::sick::mad:

"Early RICA"? Had the same thought in the Vaal Triangle.
We're having problems with some phones only - so it doesn't seem to be an infrastructure issue?

Another colleague in Sandton seems to have connectivity, so problem is not consistent but is widespread. I tried earlier switching to Edge (2G) on my blackberry 9780 and setting it to 3G, both showed signal but could not make calls or connect to internet.
Oh and before we get the Trolls about Blackberry, a colleague with iPhone4 has same issue.

Switched now again to 2G I got some email through, still can't make calls though.

Trying to call 082 111 or 082 155,both just disconnect from Landline (OK it uses Premicells).
Just called Vodashop at Vodaworld on (011) 6536750.
Eventually answered after 5 minutes of ringing. Gentleman that answered confirmed their Network is down.

Right MyBB staffers, how about writing an article on this, and get comment from VodaNOTcom?

Oh beautiful. Telkom to Vodacom phones in the Pretoria region doesn't work either.

Productivity? It might as well have been Friday...

Getting so tired of this cr@p. Can't phone, can't send sms, nothing..........
What is the excuse now ???

Yup no productivity if you rely on VodaNOTcom today.

Where is comment from Vodacomdata, OCLeroux, etc.

Please give us something.....
or does the problem not exist if there is no official word?

I know as much as you guys. I just received a communication that the call centres are down again...but not when it will be fixed. It must be related to the network problems currently being experienced.

Someone told me it was on the radio (702) about problems. I can't see anything about problems on Vodacom web site.

@Vodacom Rep: Any News about the problems?

I am on Vodacom 3G at the moment, working fine in the Croydon, Johannesburg Area (next to Kempton Park) BUT mine and my wife's Vodacom Cellphones are intermittently unable to make or receive calls since yeasterday afternoon.

Thank you

Cape Town Down as well

No connection for some users in Cap Town as well. I called Voda Cust care and they told me some servers crashed due to 3 million users trying to RICA at the same time.
I am just really tired and cannot believe a huge corporate like this have no contingency!!!

20 billion in profits......no backup plans.

Looks like the netwrok is still a bit shaky. I'm in primrose and getting a decent download speed of about 1mbps, but ping is highger than normal (over 100ms, when its usually 60ms or so) and upload is slooooow. Looking at around 30kbps.

I seem to be having connection problems in the Linden / Northcliff area again. Hasn't happened for a while but the last 2 evenings have been frustrating to say the least.
