BBM for Android, iPhone arrives

I am more comfortable on a full sized US 104-key keyboard than on anything else. I can type fast on my Q10 but at 50 words per minute my typing skills on my PC are far superior (I am no speed typist but better than most hunt-and-peck types).

Fair, but my IM platforms are not really for essays... And besides, Spen and handwriting recognition works just fine for my needs.

This is happening on my S2 too. I installed via Samsung store. Stock 4.1.2 (Nordic).

Running root stock 4.1.2 also installed it from the samsung store and its insane how my battery graph had a steep decrease after installing.

For those saying it's something else it can't be anything else cause prior to BBM install I got a full day on one charge. But I still like bbm no more giving out phone numbers.

Finally got the email and have it up and running. For those on iOS turn off Background App Refresh and it should sort out the battery drain issues.

To the bbm ios users, does your bbm crash when swiping to the 2nd page of emoticons? Not always but mostly, especially if swiping quickly.

Thought iOS users only got it in a few days?

Definitely a battery hog on S4.
Battery used to last until about 9pm from full charge at 6am. Now battery lasts until about 3pm.

Going to give it a few days, happy with BBM, but battery life sucks.

I finally got past the hold screen about a half hour ago.
No email arrived, but I got in so I don't really care.

I used my old Blackberry ID (from April 2012), but no contacts pulled through. Starting from scratch.

I have heard that your contacts only pull through if they were saved in the cloud which was only done this year if you kept your BBM up to date on your Blackberry. It worked for me as I ditched my Blackberry only in June.

Wow, I actually like the BBM interface more than Whatsapp and Viber. Too bad I only have one contact in BBM (the SU, so it doesn't even count).

App crashes when I try to change my dp (display picture, learn the lingo ;)). Haven't tried rebooting or anything though. Using a HTC Desire S.

All I see everytime I click the download link.

Lol. At least you have one. I battled for two days to get it working and I have no-one! :p

I have to say that after battling to get it download & installed on my Galaxy, waiting for 2 days to "get in front of the queue", having to create a Blackberry account and FINALLY signing in, only to find 0 contacts..really? Is this what the hype is about, having to nag people on your phonebook you already have automatically listed on WhatsApp/WeChat/MXit/etc to add you on BBM?

No wonder Blackberry is going down the toilet.
