Quick question CW,
Do you know of any issues with DStv Now streaming quality? It's trying to stream in high quality, but stream quality seems to be stuck on 240p (eugh). Not sure if it's a DStv issue (very likely, I'm sure), or something funny with prioritisation or some such.

I've checked on our end and DSTv is properly categorised. i.e. it falls into the same pool as YouTube, Netflix, Hulu etc and all of that traffic is treated equally. So your best bet is to simply load up YouTube (as it's also cached locally) and see if the performance is the same. If the same problems exist on YouTube, then I'd say there's a possible line issue as it's a top priority service (i.e. for streaming to be degraded on your premium uncapped account, we'd have to have a network meltdown of sorts). If the experience is better on YouTube, then you should have a word with DSTv about it. Likely answer is "your ISP is the problem". If they tell you that, ask for the person's direct contact details as the CEO of your ISP would like to have a word with them.

@Crystal Web representative

Can you please allow for the capped packages(after hours data) to be used from 6pm Friday evening to Monday morning 6am.

Its prepaid data so the sooner i finish my cap the better for you as i will purchase more topup data to see me through the month , not ?

At R19 per GB you're unlikely to buy much topup data, and the only reason ISPs sell capped for the current pricing (which is below actual market costs) is because we take breakages on the unused portion.

But we are working on a few cool things in all of these departments, and we are looking at adding a lot more value to you guys.

Thanks for checking :) Yeah YouTube is absolutely fine, so it's probably on their end - which doesn't surprise me at all.

Haven't received an invoice this month. Debit orders active already or is my mail client being stupid?

Could I please have it resent, can't seem to get ahold of support and the D-day is near.

Received mine on the 23rd already. I had the Standard Bank details on mine.

Yes, for now both accounts remain active, so same as last month until we send official notice.

Alright sweet, will just make the payment then. If I got a new sign up this month will my invoice for this month reflect the discount or only from the following month?

Will only show once they start actually paying, so once cleared to us. :D

Rather not give money to STD bank pls...

The less money that goes to them, the better :D

While I agree, moving banks at this stage (still filing documents for the estate transfer...) would be too much work.
One more month I guess.

Parents been with Private banking at standard for 20 + years, Didn't end well with the Fica debacle.

Moved to Absa Wealth recently - Not bad but still missing something IMO.

Rmb also just built a Huge 800 mill office block in Umhlanga LOL, Literally on my door step.. Pop in on the way home for complimentary coffee :D So they're definitely being considered.
