My Speed test not a min ago. I'm on a 3mbps line half the speed. How do you want me to play online.
International speed test. Due to the distance to exchange. I'm on a capped account.
Last Result:
Download Speed: 1189 kbps (148.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 404 kbps (50.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 210 ms

I get that on my 20Mb sometimes, LOL.

Still no improvements, took 20 minutes to download a 6mb file on my 10m line. Starting to get fed up with this.
 
This is terrible now - what is the problem at the moment? Been dismal all day today.
Getting max 30kb on a PDF download, nothing else running. Browsing is awful and mail takes an age.
For a business account this is not at all what I signed up for - will give it until month end and will make a call...
 
I really feel for you guys with the faster lines, this thread is very disheartening to see.

It makes me really not want to recommend CW (even though I am 100% happy with my account).

Get it sorted guys!
 
Pffffft downloading @ 1mb speeds on a 4mb uncapped Unshaped account on multithreaded downloads.Complete garbage. I'm being robbed.
 
I feel like I am being taken for a ride...a very slow one. Please just give us what we paid for.
 
Yeah, sub 200ms ping are a distant memory. Browsing crawls, gaming is impossible, I for one can't test my internet each and every night with multiple accounts. I want it to work like it's supposed to.
 
Wow! Looking at this thread, not one reply from CW today regarding all the issues. Looking at the beginning of the thread when CW just started it is amazing how much has changed in such a short time.

I was feeling exactly the same, so I bit the bullet and went to WebAfrica. I haven't regretted it a single day! I even upgraded my package for December!
 
@Aquiva on which package were you with CW and to which did you go on WA and what are you upgrading to? Holidays approaching and will probably have to get backup interwebs to keep kids happy.

Sorry I should mention my bad experience was with Afrihost, after being with them for years!! I got the normal Home Capped 90GB + 180GB with WA and it is great!

This sorted me out temporally by using Google DNS. Support put me up to this.
I noticed while playing online D3 I get these massive lags from the network.(2100ms)
Since last night using Google DNS I get swings up to 350ms. This is a big improvement. Yet not correct.

I was promised by the end of the week it will be solved. Lets see. I have been waiting now for 3 weeks. Another bit of the week left.
 
You are loosing packets at the exchange.... so you need to run the WA account for an extended period of time and you will probably see the same results
