Getting mine later on this evening , would have loved a Red one , but settled on the Black 128gb 5T after getting a good deal on it . Had a OnePlus 3 in the past , can't wait to get onto the 5T .
 
Excellent. And excellent. Absolutely love mine. Trying to convince my sister to get one to replace her bjorked 6s plus. She is super keen but she is prone to dropping her phones. So, the OnePlus doesn't fair all that well in the droptest department and with the lack of local support getting it repaired remains challenging.
 
Yeah , I enjoyed my Oneplus 3 , then went on to P10 plus and gave a Moto Z a go as well , but I missed the OnePlus take on Android and the dual sim function as I was carrying around both the P10 plus and the Moto Z with me . Thankfully ill be back down to one device again for both work and personal .

What is the Camera like on the OnePlus 5T ?

Quite a lot better than the 3/3T. Actually found the camera on the 3T to be sub standard. 5T suffers big time in low light situations. That's been the downfall of many a handset though. Just about all of them really. I would say it's somewhere between a 6s and a 7 (iPhone). You really have to work hard to get great shots though but when you get it right it's very very good. Scored fairly well on the Dxomark, 87 I think...

Thanks , just got mine . Really a nice looking device , though I would have liked the Red . Now for the fun of getting it all set up tonight , just waiting for it to charge fully first .

The red lava is gorgeous! I like the sandstone white too!! Black would be my 2rd choice.

Would have loved the red , but the black was at too good of a deal to pass up . Guess a nice thin Nillkin red cover will do the trick for now :)
 
Howdy guys,

Okay so hopefully O+5T can help me here.

Should i swop my S7E + R2500 for a One+5T (Brand New).. would it be a worthy upgrade over my phone? any Pro's/Cons you guys have found, yeah i've read reviews which give it great scores except for cameras, but MyBB is always better :D

im still skeptical.... ip68 has saved me more than i can remember, battery life is very important s7e is impeccable, want a decent camera.. just unsure if its a true upgrade.


orrrr just wait till june for one plus 6

Yeah was thinking that... but... i can always trade in again and get the 6 in a few months time and pay like R3k :)
Think im just gonna do it. Have an itch and for R2500, damn its a good deal

How old is your edge? And is it the 128gb 5T?
