Oneplus 5T

Edge is 1 1/2 yrs old. Nope it'll be 64gb one. Value of phones depreciate a lot more In Singapore
 
Well so far no complaints, definitely snappier than my s7e which I see now fell to the Samsung slow down curse.

Small Things I like:
Double tap to wake!
Ridiculously fast face unlock.
Bringing down notifications with fingerprint scanner.
Double tap options on the navigation buttons,.
Reversing nav buttons.
Camera isn't that bad.... I was expecting horrible ****

This gives me comfort! I'm upgrading from an S7 to the 5T. Overall the phone was very slow, and it's the first time I've ever bought a phone before my contract was over.

So I'm glad to hear this!
 
Okay well camera isn't that great lol. All the people have like chalky looking faces, but i knew this and okay with it. Everything else is great.

Must admit I'm enjoying my 5t, camera is not that bad, I took some rather nice pics at my son's cricket match this morning.

I have no doubt that the latest crop of Samsungs are better in this department but for me the camera is just fine. Pro's on the 5t far out number the cons. Iv also been getting some really great screen on time with it. Overall I'm very happy with it.

I have a OnePlus 5 and have never had a photo look so bad. Maybe ensure you're manually focusing or not moving the phone too much. The pics I take with my phone typically look great.

I know the OP5T camera by most accounts is a step backwards from the OP5, but I would expect that to only be evident when the second camera is in use.

Hearthstone: 2 hours
Auto brightness
No wifi, 4g+ only
no location
no BT

My battery life is barely half that.

SOT: 2 hours
Brightness: 80%
Wifi and LTE
Location on
no BT

Going to try your settings...

Why such high brightness? That will decimate your battery life.
 
Brightness set to Automatic, plenty of web browsing, messaging, e mails. I'm not big on gaming, use the camera for pics of the kids. On 4G when out and on Wi-Fi at home. Location turned off.
 
So yesterday when i went to bed my stats were as follows:
Battery Left: 20%
SOT - 6hrs
Hearthstone - 2hrs 40min
SoundCloud streaming - 5 hours
General browsing/facebook/whatsapp
Sports Tracker - 25 min with location on + 4g

Settings:
4G+ from 8am - 7pm , wifi onwards
Location off
BT off
Screen brightness automatic
FaceID + Fingerprint on
Pocket Mode off
Dark Theme


Will do another test today and post some screenshots

Hey I got the phone on the 23rd of Feb (ordered on the 8th). If you can, contact the Aramex customer service for them to send you the customs invoice if they have not already.

Hope you get it soon though.

On another note, saw the battery life posts above :) and jeez very impressed with my battery life so far :D

Got 29 hours total battery life earlier this week.
Screen brightness at automatic.
GPS always on at high accuracy.
Constantly using navigation and wifi and bluetooth also connected most of the time.
Also a lot of social media and emails

I'm still undecided on this... I'm holding on to see the OnePlus 6, but also holding to see what Google does with the Pixel 3 ...

I'm really enjoying the 5t, currently have 4hrs 29min of screen on time and my battery is still sitting at 36%.

For me the version of Android Oneplus uses is just great, allows you plenty of options and yet it still has that unbloated stock feel to it.

What cases are you all using? Iv got a Nillkin black frosted case on currently, pretty happy with it provides a good amount of grip and it is slim.
