Apparently my last post was the good ol' days, from 17:00 to 22:00 today I had 5% average loss with a max of 25%:

I called it so hard:

"Urgent 10G to 100GB Backhaul Upgrade at the Master Node"

This is the notice for the area, so my theory of everyone gets home, makes dinner and then at around 19:00 sits down and starts streaming was pretty much correct.
 
Ok, I see the upgrades are active now actually. Odd , tested this morning and it peaked at 50 now showing 100. Not perfect though so maybe still rolling out, my 50/50 is rock solid, this looks sketchy ( and yes its cabled ) , down is lower because kids are streaming youtube but my up has always been on par or over.

Wonder if they routing around flood damages.
Yeah, I normally get 10ms too as I assume the server is in jhb. Maybe it's being routed to cape town?

Well SA routing was a mess a week or so ago so probably not fully repaired yet and just mitigated.

@Kosmik Your upload is likely being capped by your router only having 100Mbps ethernet ports, with overheads the highest you can reach is about 94Mbps unless you get a gigabit capable router.

Possibly, I use my own as vox couldn't work my port requests properly so I control my end post the Fibre end but my downloads are also peaking at only 7.9 or 8 MBps so it's not even 80ish.
 
Vox had the best EU routing I've ever seen from them a week ago but it only lasted a couple of days.

I was getting 168ms to London, 180ms to Frankfurt and now it's 180ms and 195ms.
