Iv been on them for almost a year and still no progress. Did a Vuma test for them as well. Similar results. So something is deeply wrong somewhere in this value chain.

They give you the same reply each time you complain "We cant guarantee international speeds"
 
Where are those leaving Home-Connect going to? I need a new home and the options are confusing.
 
Hi guys, I am a new HC subscriber and I recently received my router and got connected in the morning. These are the speeds that I am getting. I'm on a 100/10 line but what's really confusing me the most is my upload speed is double what I'm supposed to be getting. I've been downloading some games off steam today which maxed out at 5MB/s also. Is this an issue I can fix or should I just wait and see?

Hello all,

Vettie is back sorry for going away for sol long but dam the Covid 19 thru a spanner in the works.

Okay so i stayed with Home Connect, I was appointed the team leader Thabiso Zulu to assist on getting my issues resolved and we ran thru a lot of test and then came to a last resort of changing the router to the new Huawei and boom packet loss is gone!!!


So we suspect that the Tenda Router just does not have enough juice to run my network.


After installing the small router my Wifi Network improved and speeds improved all over the house to all devices


International speed was an issues in short i got a VPN and bam sorted.

We tested a few mates lines with and with out VPN and every one ha slower speeds with out a VPN. The other side of it is i really wanted a VPN in any case ( So no one can see me watching my cute midget porn) and get my Netflix US ect going and now i am a happy camper. Looking at the prices after FF increased i will rather stay for now lol


My suggestion is speak to Thabiso he knows what he is doing.

What line did you sign up for and who is your FNO?

This will help to get you a better responce


Steam has local servers so there is nice speed spikes, they have servers in JHB and Cape Town

I went with Nord VPN.

Must say well impressed. Went with the 2 year plan that is like 70% off, what is super cool and wierd is that i connect to an SA server and then get full US netflix XD

So i though i smoked the wrong cheap smokes but ban The Office and Grey's Anatomy was there on netflix and that is only availabill in the US.

The nice part is it does not mess up my ping for gaming and when i do an IP trice it takes me to Kuruman in the Northen Cape but who cares lol


It work s and no take down notices from ISP Not that i will download illegal content do

The ip ranges is like 154 or 156 ect
