Nope on star rating structures etc ... As we handle our pipe. Most IS aligned providers replicate a shaping system because of the commercial relationship between the companies (which obviously we can't comment on), it is possible - and is the case with CW to have a "pipe model" so even if the profiles and so on are replicated the effects are different because of the working of the pipe. Exact technical and commercial details are of course sensitive and I don't know currently of which other providers use a pipe model or how much headroom is in any pipe but I can think of at least one other provider that used a pipe model with IS before changing backbone.
Very interesting. Thanks for the reply. Does this affect capped accounts too or does IS give you x amount of unshaped data to resel as you wish or bandwidth like a pipe type system where you guys decide how unshaped or shaped you want it to be?
