Yeah. Uniterm usually match price. The last 8970 I got from Uniterm they matched takealots price. Was R999 vs R869
They also give MyBB members discount, just PM kernel before you go and buy
Good to know. Thanks.

Let me just clarify that I am a bit of a noob when it comes to "networking" in any guise or form. That said we do stream a lot in our household although devices(Rokus) are mostly via network cables. We also connect cellphones and tablets via wifi and they are sometimes used at the same time. I don't know if this is where "dual band" has it's advantages but I don't mind forking out a little more for something that may be a bit more "future Proof". Suggestions...?
The TP Link - it will support your WiFi requirements. Just be sure that your existing devices support the 5GHz frequency band or it may be a little bit of a waste then. In which case the W8970 may be a better fit.

Do you struggle with WiFI range at the the moment? If so, it may be worth it.
Price difference is small enough that it should be worth it. One last quick question. Would it be worthwhile to "replace" one/two (Probably one) of the antennae with one of these...? --->TP-LINK 2.4GHz 8dBi Indoor Omni-directional Antenna

I see under the specs for the W8980 it lists this info for the antennae:
Antenna Type:
--Three 5GHz 5dBi detachable antennas (RP-SMA)
--Two 2.4GHz 3.5dBi internal antennas
So are CW any closer to a resolution on the network problem because my connection is still crawling along!
Live chat is down.
My line is horribly unstable and just keeps disconnecting.
Yes, I have power cycled the router multiple times.
f-me, internet is a pos in this country.
Attenuation, SNR and sync speed?

Weird, that should be solid. Exchange issue? Faulty filter?
EU latency as 270ms and spikes to around 350ms every few minutes
Is there an eta of when things will be fixed? Downloading some windows updates of around 1gb for the past hour and it's only 19% done on 10m line. Really?!
