Wow! Looking at this thread, not one reply from CW today regarding all the issues. Looking at the beginning of the thread when CW just started it is amazing how much has changed in such a short time.

I'm not getting replies from support either :(
I don't know who to turn to anymore.
I should have just left my line with Telkom.

Still no email to all us CW customers about what is going on and on the ETA on when this issue will be solved. Its been like this with every single ISP I have joined. Super amazing for the first month and then a huge decline after that.

We're also waiting on an update. We should get a progress report from management today regards the fix
 
Okay, I've been invoiced for the month of December, but the way the line is currently performing I don't want to use it in the month of December and am reluctant to pay.

I downgraded from 600gb to 100gb on the pretense that network upgrades would have normalized performance by now, but it hasn't!!

I'm lucky if I'm consistently getting 40% of max line speed, and that's on a capped account! I've purchased over 200gb's of data elsewhere this month to compensate for the poorly performing CW account and currently still have close to 170gb's of CW data which I don't intend using unless it's at close to max line speed.

Please advise.

Crystalweb: Download Speed: 1308 kbps (163.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Incredible: Download Speed: 3502 kbps (437.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Chatted to support yesterday but nothing resolved... time to jump ship i guess

I got charged for "Full 4meg line speed" because I have a 4meg line but only subscribed to a 2 meg account.

I get 2meg speeds... :wtf:

The logic on crystalwebs part isn't exactly reasonable but as it stands i will be gone too end of month. after a month of creating tickets today only they escalated the ticket to the network team.

this after i went throught the "it is your exchange" qeustion several times but i wanted none of that i gave them my fault number so they can contact telkom themselves and find out in first person that the exchange is fine.

If I am going to pay for 4meg I expect at least.

4meg line speeds
stable pings
no packet loss.

Not too much to ask it is? :wtf:
 
Just joined CW. Maybe should have read through this lot first. I was with WebAfrica, but that rolling window they use for their FUP was killing me.
 
I did not think it was possible...this has been worse than AH for me so far. No update on the situation. CW seems to be MIA on the forums.
 
Pretty disappointing month in terms of speeds - not exactly what I expected for R799. I cancelled earlier in the month, think it I'll be a few months before I consider this again.
 
I must be pretty lucky. My account is running like a bullet train. Haven't checked for packet loss lately.
 
will only know where my account stands when I get back to Jozi tonight, it was doing better on Saturday morning when I left so I'm holding thumbs
