Not even telkom guest account working for me.. :(

Now holding for 38 minutes... Wonderful way to spend the evening
 
We are working on a couple of authentication problems at the moment, many are quite quick to restore really but we need to know who is affected so please holler to support some dsl circuits have a very real Telkom problem and no account can connect.

As for network performance - it is something being dealt with at all levels of the business but there are a few delicate aspects and getting tangible data is always beneficial, but the best interests of our customers is always our first consideration - work is always being done in the background and many customers have found their situation improve, please help us if you are experiencing problems by touching base with support and getting some hard data to us. The Eskom nonsense is not helping the situation.
 
The Telkom problem is at Bronberg, they will start fixing the problem at 23:55 tonight. There is a problem with a router that is faulty. Work should be done by 1am tomorrow morning.
 
Faark!!! Just got off the phone with Telkom, after holding for a hour!

The oke got cocky and said, "yes it won't work because there is problem in the area", how te hell am I supposed to know that??

I've tried connecting to live support but can't get it to work on my phone. Sent them an email.
 
I've had a decent month speed-wise. The only problem has been occasional bouts of severe packet loss, which i hope are going to clear up soon.
 
No Authentication issue here, but speed is a tad slow. No use in bugging support now, I only have 4 days of any ADSL left LOL.
 
Electricity just came back on and my account cannot authenticate. Wtf is going on! CW is really testing my patience!

There are a couple of network issues - some of which are completely outside of our control (a couple of Telkom problems) - but please do let support know and let's deal with any issues on our side. When we say DSL is a best effort game we mean making the best effort.
 
See now why isn't such a widespread Telkom BROADBAND related issue news on MyBB instead of a 4th article about a Cel C banner? Man my nostalgia goggles must be on maximum because I remember the news segment being far more relevant.

Already spoke to support and they told me that it's out of control and that Telkom doesn't provide and ETAs as to when the problem should be resolved.
 
Contacted support yesterday regarding my issues. I was informed that the performance issues are being looked at.
 
Browsing is currently murderously slow. Just paid CW for next month and that took an age. Really hope you guys sort this out.
 
Jip last night was one of those days. Packet loses, then I switched over to series and watched a couple of them.
Don't know if last night weather had a roll to play? who knows.
This morning I checked again no packet loses. Perhaps the rain and hail washed the lines clean.

Lets see what happens to playing condition tonight online.
