Yeah its time to cancel. Had a long webchat with Cybersmart support and got the standard reply "We will get back to you soon/this afternoon". Guess what ? No communication or solution. Open WebAfrica account this morning and my downloads and streaming are back to what I expect of a 20Mb/s VDSL line

You're chatting to cybersmart about your CW account?

Today is really bad, getting 0.5kB/s on my nvidia downloads, but still getting full line speed when I try speedtest

I think a afrihost 100/200gig capped with a 5gig webafrica(for 12-6 dl's) is my next solution

My downloads are blazing fast today on NNTP, getting a whopping 4kb/s on my 10m line. Glad to see the problems are sorted this month as promised...time to cancel.

What NNTP service can you recommend?

@Paul Hjul

Is CW politics sorted. Is every thing back to normal.
Tried gaming last night did not work.
One question that never gets answered. When I signed up my CW account worked downloading and gaming for three day.
Month later still waiting.

CW have their own, just message support

Thanks but I cancelled with them, Is just hanging around with the hope of seeing something positive posted from CW. If they sort out their S**t I will join again.

I almost fell off my chair.

Guess What?

Web Africa's night-surfing from 0:00 to 06:00 is a whopping 50TB for new and existing customers for December.

And the best part is that one lucky subscriber can win a GoPro Hero 4.
That's a recipe for contention.

EDIT: Busy talking with support..

I fired up a file and and it is going well enough, between 300 - 420kB/s on a 4Mbps line.
It is contending for bandwidth with a PS4 atm though, so I think the result is good enough.

Edit 2:
It just stopped dead in the water.
No throughput at all.

Error: Failed login for server news.crystalweb.co.za (port number)

Edit 3
Started again at about 13:50

Edit 4
Died again 13:54 with the same error

Crystalweb needs to add a "cancel" option to their Control Panels
Been wondering, I have a invoice I just paid issued on 24/11/2014 - if cancellation is in effect.
Will my services auto terminate - or must I "plug everything out" on the 19th / 31st of Dec

**edit**
Why do I have a sneaky suspicion that Afrihost is buying CW.. either that, or CW is poaching AH staff..

Did Telkom put that in writing? Please drop me an email with the details because this would be a major problem for us to look into.

O and QUAD DAMAGE

Paul, I went to Telkom today and the kind lady showed me how her system rejected my application because my line was under "Wholesale" and told me to come back once it was back with Telkom. I have her name and company email if you want to follow up on it. Hoping my line is back before Monday so I can order :D

Mine is up again but hovering at around 200kB/s on 4Mb?? Even multi threaded http downloads around 200kB/s

What's up with that, new month... Is this related to the Telkom issues?

Afrihost is one of the existing ISPs that see CW's offerings as a major threat, I know that much.

Count your blessings you getting 200kB/s, I'm battling to break 60kB/s :(
Torrents though perform quite well - kinda feels like I'm on account that punishes HTTP but endorses torrents LOL
