Line is synchronizing at higher upstream than it should, causing bad noise. And just 2 days ago telkom fixed my line synchronizing at lower downstream than it should.
 
The website says that topups and capped products are only available in 100GB increments.. Is that corrent wrt topups? If I run out of data with 2 days of the month left, I don't want to have to buy 100GB surely?

That is correct.

Topups per GB have not been introduced yet, and if they are, would be at a far higher rate than R2 per gig.

ok that makes sense cost-wise.. but will be a nuisance if one runs out of data on the 2nd last day of the month. will there be topups per gig in future (higher cost understandable of course)?

Imagine it like this: ordinarily one would want to topup around 20 to 30GB in our research. At R5 to R17 per gig topup with other companies that's a pretty penny to pay for a few gigs. We're just looking at this from another angle and trying to add some value there. We can do cheaper topups and we may introduce this as a product at a later stage but we need to go one step at a time with these things.

So we went for best bang for buck instead at first.

Heck, some companies still do OOB on capped at absurd rates - not a game we ever want to find ourselves in - that's just not the way we run this business.
 
Nice pricing there on the capped accounts DJ. Better than Afrihost (but you knew that ;)). Will consider moving in the future, just a hassle as we have four devices at three locations on the same account that will need to be updated.

TBC depending on uptake and a few things falling in to place. Can't state now, or I'd have added it explicitly to the terms.

Lower is highly unlikely absent IPC cost reductions. This is already a heavily subsidised price-point.

As mentioned above it's a pain for me to change ISP so I'll have to wait and see what you do first.
 
Anyone here using Ubuntu? Which repository do you use? They all seem to be a little slow when downloading updates on CW.
