Well, that's data sent from Telkom's infrastructure directly to us. We record the data against your account, so unless their entire Telkom RADIUS system has gone haywire (and there's no indication that it has), those reports are 100% accurate, and it measures each byte that flows from your account.

Wow, then my online gaming and Netflix has used a total of 57.611GB in 4 days.

Netflix really is a killer.

Remember that streaming is a top priority service on premium uncapped (for example) so what bandwidth Netflix wants, Netflix typically gets. So that you have the best experience overall with streaming services (some exciting news about this coming soon as well).

Thanks for that :)

However, a very disconcerting message pops up that they won't support rooted phones for much longer, which is disheartening to say the least.

Hopefully the other options become available soon, before SnapScan goes away. Also, I just used it to pay you guys, but nothing seems to have gone off my account yet?

In my invoice, I was only given the Standard Bank account information.

Does anyone have the FNB details, or can send me a link to them on the website?

when did you become a mod or Gary-ite?
:p

Symbian is AWESOME like OS/2 and Itanium

I'm not the mod you are looking for :erm:

Symbian is like that one story you remember being great until you rewatch it.

A(n) droid then?

Like many old movies Symbian was amazeballs (like Spaceballs) for its time.

Ah dammit, public holiday today, so cannot talk to billing.

I used the SnapScan app earlier today to pay my invoice to you guys, the transaction shows up in the app as paid but I received no confirmation of payment.
My credit card has not been charged either, so I really don't know if it is functioning like it should. I guess the public holiday has something to do with it?

That sucks. For them. Mail them and tell them your concerns, if they don't care then just don't use it.

Developers that worry about jailroken iOS or rooted Android devices need to be avoided. On iOS just to Flex2 to fake out the method that does the jailbreak check, so I'm sure Android has a similar type of app.

Wow. Seems that South Africa is finally waking up to the thought that 3GB of data isn't enough.

Maybe soon all those bandwith hog stuff posts will stop.

Log into Netflix. Go to Your Account (hover over your profile name) > My Profile > Playback Settings > Choose either Low or Medium to drop your bandwidth usage, if that's what you want. That freed up a lot of the bandwidth that Netflix was sucking up during the periods when someone else wanted to go on to Youtube, or game online.

It's just myself using the line and it's either Netflix or gaming.

I just wanted confirmation as I could never accurately my usage before. Line has been solid since I signed up with Crystal Web and I have 2 others joining before month's end.

It's possible for Netflix to use that much with UltraHD, which chows around 6.5mbps if I remember correctly. 60GB would be about 15 hours of watching or so. Maybe a little more.
