Paul, you good at evading tax?

nobody is "good" at evading tax

pay your taxes, it is the right thing to do

of course as Learned Hand (and that is actually the man's [RIP] name) said:
Any one may so arrange his affairs that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which will best pay the Treasury; there is not even a patriotic duty to increase one's taxes.

Ahh I get it, so we're calling it tax reduction...

Good man, hopefully we get this going so I can start my meth lab and rake the $$$

drugs are bad Mkay

the only crystal you should be buying is crystal web

Is that was the kids are calling it these days?
Is it disguised as spiderman candy or something for easier distribution?

Question about the capped accounts: if I have 2x40Mbs lines that I'd like to use the account on, will the account run at 40Mbs on each line or will it split 20/20 because max /total/ throughput is 40Mbs (as the website suggests)

And are 100GB> top ups available for home accounts?

Max throughput on capped is 40Mbps, but for our fibre offerings we have new products coming out. We're testing one tonight in fact, and will give you more concurrent speed on 2x40Mbps lines. :D

Is there any definitive way to figure out what maximum speed you can get from your exchange?

I am on (011)234.... which I think is the exchange near where Bowling crosses the N1, opposite Sunninghill Hospital. For years I synced at 4Mbps and recently this went up to 6Mbps (without me asking). Technically this suburb is Edenburg Ext 1 although most people say it's Rivonia.

My TP-Link device reports:

Upstream Downstream
Current Rate (Kbps) 639 6144
Max Rate (Kbps) 1304 23772
SNR Margin (dB) 14.7 16.9
Line Attenuation (dB) 15.7 27.5

So what can I realistically expect?

And is it worthwhile moving my line to CW to see if they can get me onto something faster?

At R19 per GB you're unlikely to buy much topup data, and the only reason ISPs sell capped for the current pricing (which is below actual market costs) is because we take breakages on the unused portion.

But we are working on a few cool things in all of these departments, and we are looking at adding a lot more value to you guys.

not currently a client but would be if i could use that data then .

Anyone else doing news server downloads now? Mine Does not wanna work?

Using crystal web news server

Question -

I do about 200gb odd a month at the moment of which the majority is news server stuff. Which of the CW capped or the CW uncapped package (4mb) would be best suited to my needs (leaning towards capped)? Also, if I sign up today, I pay today right? I know the info is out there but I need sleep and it's easier to ask here :p

Well, I can only give you user experience, I've got the 4mb premium uncapped account, download about 10 to 12gb of news server content from midnight to 8am daily. Sign up today, pay tomorrow, they weren't that strict when I signed up.

Do you schedule them or do you need full line speed on nntp at all times of day?

Our product FAQ gives a pretty decent and transparent outlay of how each product works. http://www.crystalweb.co.za/faq.php

And yes, if you sign up for activation today, then payment is due today. There is no pro-rata on capped accounts, just an FYI.

I can schedule, not pressing to have full speed all day ... as long as my gaming is not affected, lol.
Filled the info gaps I needed, gracias. Will be switching over in a couple days then :)
