The 5T is looking rather attractive with how low the rand is getting!! I've got the 3T and I'm wondering how much better the battery life is on the 5T??

I'm finding battery life on mine weak, but that's probably cause I haven't put it down since getting it.

Crazy talk. Importing it makes more sense

Indeed. Just find the right channel and bobs your auntie.

You're looking at about a day with medium use (social media, apps that use GPS, emails, reading articles during smoke breaks)... maybe a day and a half so should be about the same, but it's definitely in the top 5 high-end android phones when it comes to battery life from what I've seen. P.S. If you don't use it often like say over a weekend out or something you'll easily see 2 days.
What's changed the game for me was Dash charging, what an insanely useful feature.

Dash charge is magnificent! I am a heavy user though and hoped the 835 efficiency would have helped. I cant say I'm unhappy about the 3T battery life but every bit counts!

I wouldn't mind a 1mm thicker phone for that extra battery capacity! The one and only thing I would change about OnePlus phones

Which Amazon is this? US? I tend to buy from Oneplus.net Speaking of which: OnePlus says up to 40,000 customers were affected by credit card security breach I am sure my stuff leaked as well.

US yeah.

Yeah, that's quite a stuff up re credit card security breach! That's got to do some damage to the brand...

How do you swing ordering direct from Oneplus? You using Aramex to handle rerouted shipping? And would it come in a lot less than R9.2k for the 128gb 5T?

EDIT: Amazon seems to work nicely with sellers that actually ship to SA. I just recently got a 10.5" 64gb iPad Pro for R9.1k all in. Also a Sonos Play 5 for R8.9k. I couldn't get either locally for anywhere near that. Drawback of course, is warranty and US plug points with both devices...

I have always used these guys. http://www.postbox-courier.com/ I have the Oneplus 5. Which I bought about 6 months back and in total I paid about R8300. At the time Amazon didn't have it so...

That's a pretty good price on a 5. Dollar rand looking a lot stronger now though. I also got a 5 around that time. I waited and waited and waited and waited for the rand to strengthen to R13/$1 and when it did I pulled the trigger. It's not like I needed an incentive to buy a new phone at the time but that was it. Now we looking at R12/$1. And the 6 is probably out around April.

That is the only reason why I'm looking at the Oukitel over the OnePlus. 11000mAh battery!!!!

+1 for Amazon + shipping! I ordered a router camera lens and tripod and the service and price is unbeatable. Does your Sonos require 110v to operate? The iPad should be global voltage so just needs an adapter, not a voltage converter

The Sonos auto selects the correct voltage. I just needed a US to SA adapter to overcome the physical differences in plug points.

The iPad shipped with US adapter but they interchangeable so I'm using a local adapter to charge although 90% of the time I charge from a powered USB hub (5V2.1A).

Hi all, got my OnePlus 5t this week (bought @ Gearbest). Super happy with it thus far. Ordered a couple screenguards with it but they don't fit. I'm going to try ordering from Gearbest and was just wondering if anyone has bought from them and which one is the correct size for the 5t. They have so many options but I don't want to make the same mistake again.
