Vox Fibre Feedback

Yea and I can't figure out why, It only started happening about a week ago, was hoping it would've just come right eventually but guess I'll have to contact support to query it.

i'm using 9.9.9.9 and 1.1.1.1 as dns.

Looking at the 100/50 package
 
Hi all!

Need some advice:

I canceled with CISP end November and moved to Vox, so I should be active from 1 Jan.

However, Octotel confirmed they can only switch the line on 23 December or 6 January; I opted for 23 December, and all confirmed that this was in order, but it happened while I was away on holiday, and having just returned from holiday, I can't connect.

I just got off the line with VOX support who confirmed that I should be able to login via my CISP account, which should still be active until 31 December, but I can’t.

I need someone from CISP/Octotel to confirm that the line has been released to VOX ASAP, so I can connect; I don't have a VOX username and login yet, so that might also be an issue, hence I'll crosspost this to the Vox thread, but I would appreciate some advice from you guys too, so I can just figure out what's at the bottom of this; is this the correct thread to use when seeking support, and does VOX have reps on here like CISP does?

No VOX has no representation here, none that we are aware of. never seen any of their REP's post here.
 
I have no internet for 3 weeks now. and every time I speak to someone at vox about it its we will look in to it. Or its they are busy with it. crap service ever

Same but different game, 50% of EU servers are now at 190ms-230ms, used to be 145-180.
My local pings are 57ms throughout (used to be 8-20ms). SADV 50Mbps.
 
Hi - We have had Vox fibre on Frogfoot since May 2018 - the service and connection has been 100% - we would highly recommend Vox - sorry to hear other people are having issues

Had this package for the last 3 years, and I have not had a single complaint ever. It just works. Really great experience!

vox isn't the issue, last mile congestion problems are, the only issue with vox is them showing any interest in fixing it with said fibre provider.
 
my experience with Vox, they did feedback when issues happens, they sent sms, calls before closing ticket. ticket system could issue ticket automatically , with ticket no., i could follow up, and trace.
 
but i believe Vox's redundancy backbone to London is not same like Main one. congestion sometimes.

Trigga you still routing via US? I just want to double check before,

For some reason Cellc is using vox as backbone for INT traffic and its bloody doing the same

Ya it's still happening, weird thing is that it only happens for the Path of Exile EU servers.

Well then we are ****ed because for me its only the POE servers as well. No point for me to ask cellc they will just say its out of their hands

I have messaged GGG and asked if they can see anything out of the ordinary on their side but I'm guessing they gonna just say it's the ISP causing the issue if other connections from South Africa are routing normally, did it also only start acting up around Metamorph launch for you as well?

I cannot comment on that one as I skipped blight so its really hard to say :(
 
Man this line is just dead today, 50Mb Vox SADV Fibre. Reddit/streamable photos/videos take AGES to load like 56k, twitch is buffering constantly as usual.
2 more weeks left of this kak ISP!

Damn that is horrible local connection and even worse international. Yeah battled my arse of with Vox in Randburg, had the exact same issue.
