Anyone else's international traffic crawling?
Issues started last night and have continued today
 
True to form ... I was waiting for this:
Cancelled with them in September 2020, get this email this morning

I've been on hold with them for 15m now waiting to cancel my line. They're support is basically non-existant, their accounts department never got back to me after I hassled them for a statement for months. It's just time to move on I would completely not recommend them. International traffic is also horrible during peak times and their latency is worse than my previous 2 fibre ISPs.

Been on the line with them with something that could've just been resolved through simple email if they had it on their website. Also, if you want to cancel, they have a direct email for that at [email protected] <- there I just saved you at least half an hour if you want to cancel with them too.

Yeah, I've also got horrible international speeds most of the day, but some don't and I suspect it may be bad routing for some of us. For me since I have no viable alternative yet, different VPN servers / Warp+ / SOCKS5 proxies work for the time being and in most cases can keep a steady 100mbps+ overseas, but for sure if you've got the option of fibre that's always better solely for more consistent speeds throughout.

Ironically, while their service is indeed non-existant, compared to Afrihost the waiting times have been drastically shorter so I don't have to stress when making calls to fix small issues in a jiffy where possible hehe

(I see this thread is for Supersonic's fibre department, interesting, my issue stemmed from their LTE but to see the international speeds being a problem here too is something)
 
MTN is so strict when it comes to network configurations yet they leave Supersonic ONT's open to the internet with the default username and password.... :rolleyes:

Yes still am. The screenshot is some random person just saw the IP and said let me check and make sure nothing is odd and yeah.
 
So I am looking at moving away from Cool Ideas, I came here looking for light at the end of my NotSoCoolTunnel and seems I need to go deeper into the cave.

Yeah about that. I cancelled, got the cancellation email and everything (Last month was supposed to be Dec) . Yet they send me a bill for Jan

Send an email to Calvin Colett ... he is the CEO ... I have been told that he is VERY pro Customer Care ... I am still waiting to see the proof
