You have to give notice by the 18th of the month to cancel at the end of the same month.

Yes, I know that. But who do you give notice to? I've never had any response to emails. And the billing portal I got sent doesn't have a cancel option.

Mail support, that's what I did.
I mailed them a day later for confirmation of the cancellation.

The Portal still shows my usage for last month.
Does that mean I'm being penalized for big downloads?

I started a PSN game download at about 12:00 and it started off at line speed and then over the hours dropped drastically, even stopping completely at times.
Now 4 hours later it still says 74 minutes and it does not drop.Instead it climbs a minute or 3 and then drops back again. It has 1GB left for download.
 
OK, enough is enough. I am putting in my cancellation. Why the f does it take 2 hours just to download a 90mb file via http?? The same file when switching to another isp account is finished in just a couple of minutes!

It's a small app that will run in the background and use very little ram. You can have it show a graph with current speed on your windows Taskbar.

After installing select ignore local traffic within the lan to only monitor your internet usage. You can also monitor how much each program uses over time.
 
It pains me to say this but if by the 15th things aren't right at CW I'm going to try out another ISP :(

I left Ti because on 2 occasions for 3 months at a stretch they kept stringing me along with promises of a fix that never emerged. I'm not saying CW is doing the same but out of the 12 months this year I only had 5 months of decent internet. 2 months of that being with CW and a period of 3 months with Ti.

I can't go on like this and something needs to change, I'm hoping that things pick up soon because I REALLY don't want to leave but I feel this is going on too long now and I need to make a decision.

@Shaun and @Paul - please get us back to pre-November levels again, I'd hate to leave CW.
 


my line was looking fine over the weekend but it's gone to crap again, I also can't carry on like this, I don't think I've had a single solid months performance yet since switching from AH in June, the initial sweeteners and teasers with regular comms and CW bending over backwards to help out when they were still going through launch teething problems were what kept me hanging on as I thought we were in for a game changer, I'm sure Shaun and Paul are working hard in the background to address the problems as best they can but it just seems that there is only so much they can do and a lot lies beyond their control

my only concern is who to turn to, maybe I'll look at someone like Plugg
 
Hate to say it but when I saw Cybersmart was the backbone I didn't have much hope of this working out well. Would have loved to support Shaun and Paul but not with that company as the backbone.
