That is correct. Your account will sync to your line speed, which is why the terms of use require you to sign up for the correct account speed for your line speed, for the technical reasons previously mentioned.
This is interesting. So what happens if someone wants a 1Mb connection and account, but Telkom's default line speed on offer is 4Mb? Will future client zones allow people to scale down their connection speed and pay a lower amount as a result?
Also, are there notifications if the line speed gets auto-upgraded to a higher line speed? An example would be the multiple people sitting on grandfathered 4Mb accounts waiting for Telkom to upgrade them to 10Mb. Suddenly the exchange supports 10Mb, their speeds increase and their account gets auto-synced to 10Mb. What notification is there for the client that lets them know they are going to be billed more?
