Hey CW, wanted to know when we'd get more info on product/pricing changes as a result of Telkom's IPC (and other) price reductions.
As I understand it, uncapped users are fine with the prices and would rather have extra investment into the network.
But as a home capped user, the network is already more than good enough for my needs. I barely have shaping on the protocols I use, even in business hours (no torrents/news). So I would prefer an increase in the cap sizes and/or a price reduction.
Can we get a time frame for any possible announcements?

When we're ready to do so. Sorry, we cannot comment on a public forum on any of this just yet.
I fully agree with not dropping prices.
The current price points are perfect for the service I get.
I, and I'm sure many others, would prefer the savings be re-invested in the network.
We'd rather have lower contention than lower prices.....
Curious to know if others feel the same way?
We will run a survey on this soon as well, but initial feedback would be appreciated.
Agree with everyone else, better product for the same price. A slightly lower price if it would allow but not at product degradation.

All sorted now. DDOS attack. Not sure how this hasn't made the news yet. It's massive and widespread at the moment, and has brought down a few companies already for quite some time longer than what we just went down for.

I'm having major issues with Mweb - cant even load my gmail - all the google services are strained actually. So I just signed up for home uncapped premium from you guys - after chatting to a support person who said I'll receive my login details tonight.
But because of my crappy connection, when I clicked the final button on the sign up form, the final page never loaded.. so I started over.. as I finished that.. I got an email saying my "account has been received and is being processed" but that email arrived awfully close to when I submitted the second one.. so I think that email was in response to the first application attempt.
So I'm not sure if you guys got my application twice in a row? Also - will I actually get the login details tonight?
