Yeah I don't think a power cycle will fix it. It was working fine all through D3 and then red light on the router. Also, not being able to access the website tells me that the issue is deeper than a power cycle ;).

I get it about 3 to 4 times a month where the net dies. Can't access the router web interface, then power cycling it to get access works but had a few occasions where this also don't get the net back. Leaving it off for 20 to 30 mins fixes the problem and if I have time I then contact support to find out if everything is OK.

Snail that would be your router dying. If you struggle to access the interface and have to power cycle it just to get the interface then the issue is your router nothing else.

What router do you have, Out of interest?

While waiting for a response, was the issue with using services like unlocator solved? I'm talking about the DDoS email sent out on Sunday?

CW site down for me as well. Did someone forget to pay his ADSL account? Naughty naughty :D

Guess my support query will have to wait =(

Website is back up (support staff let me know - I think they are trying politely to tell me to piss off)

I just want to post a question to @crystalweb not sure if it has been asked before or not.

You control panel looks just like Webafrica's control panel. You products are called the same in the control panel for example "Download plus" and your capped accounts are exactly the same as Webafrica's.

Are you guys reselling Webafrica's data which is reselling IS data? If so then what makes your products better than theirs? I know you guys have awesome support but the accounts are basically the same as the rest of the IS resllers not? :)

AFAIK the interface is the same for most ISPs. (*The very thought of any association with WA at this point*...)

AFAIK CW answered this a while back, they use the same profiles as webafrica do because their backbone is the same - IS.

Pretty sure the control panel is an IS standard, and CW does make use of similar account profiles as WA.

Line is fine, I did do the power cycle routine it did not help. This has happened twice before and CW fixed it the last time. It was something about the port profile or something that went haywire.

For some profiles. ;)

And yes, the sit has been under DDOS attack. In fact Hetzner who hosts the front-end has been under DDOS attack, hence the occasional downtime. Apologies about this. I'm going to sort out the backup failover for the front-end tomorrow to try to prevent this from become an issue.

I always thought that was Webafrica control panel.... Other IS resllers like Openweb,Vox and ITNT does not use the same control panel.

Since I had accounts with all Webafrica,Openweb,Crystalweb,Webafrica and ITNT one thing became very clear. It is all IS capped accounts and they all seem like they are unshaped.

So no matter what ISP you choose all sell pretty good capped accounts.
