Holy *** ****!!!! Did you actually read every single one of the 7566 posts above yours? I sure hope so or you would be the biggest **** hypocrite alive. idiot.

Actually I have & the previous thread for that matter. My point is simply that people need to complete the relevant due diligence or at least ask the free support questions they need answered before purchasing a service.

Yes, of course you have. I would nominate myself to assault people too if I sat reading 500+ pages of posts.

So what are you saying ? CrystalWeb is not for the average user , Moms, Dads, etc, and only the I.T knowledgeable is fit to use CrystalWeb due to investigating due diligence ?
Then they should advertise it as a an ISP for the I.T Professional.
and you as an IT professional (I presume know all this) so it is easy for you !
Think out of your little IT Box you use at work and your superior home network and think of others not at your level.

I believe that our FAQ and our Smart Selector make it incredibly easy to find the right product for your requirements and budget, and our product range is there for entry level all the way to heavy and advanced users.

 it's not that bad if you monitor the thread from when it's started. I get people's frustrations. Heck I was with iburst for many years before switching over to CrystalWeb last year, but guys you don't buy a car without first doing your homework? So why is this any different?

You clearly understand your needs so make the comparisons and ask the questions. If you go through the last few pages of posts you will notice several others have done so and they don't come back to complain later.

Please show me where I can purchase 300G capped without a night option at a reasonable price ?
I'm not interested in an extra 400Gig between 12 and 6am.
I want a flat 300 Gig anytime bundle.

Business premium capped...

Ill Just Lol.

Thanks DJ.
You can lol, but the bottom line is we try to manage a network that doesn't run out of capacity every 2 months. That's what it costs to do so. We could also try to cross subsidise products to below cost, but you land up with a major problem when those subsidies start running dry and you've now made a promise to thousands of users...

So i wanted to cancel last month and billing did not even bother to reply to a few questions -_-, so i had to pay for this month now *sigh*.

it's like you don't read for **** sake

What you getting so excited about mate, I just replied to an earlier post of someone asking about what package to take.

I did a test on CW using the "test" account - which is the top business premium extreme unshaped account with all the bells and whistles - accepting that there would be a degradation down to a Home Capped account and the only re-assurance I got from "Live Chat" is that fanbois like you are "happy" with what you get.

I was not happy in finding that the shaping was so severe - 1000KB down to 250KB - as per pic and hence the post.

So you are not to mention NNTP or "universe creator" forbid you mention P2P services, lest you want to get flamed.

Maybe you and Leek could also reply to the earlier post as to which package to take?

If you want download 24/7 - pay for it and buy business data.

If you don't download (a lot) in the day then home capped is fine.

On home capped I can still download patches, drivers, updates and the like whenever I need to at full line speed. I don't torrent. At all. Ever.

What I do do is stream live Twitch, Nav, some Netflix and YouTube in the day and the home capped package is perfect.

There is no one size fits all ISP. If the above "rules" are not to your liking, please feel free to sign up with any other ISP. Otherwise you open your wallet and you pay a premium for the data you want to use 24/7.

People seem to be feeling extremely entitled as to what capped means. I just lol at the idiocy.

This is like Medical Aid, everyone wants the best cover and pay as little as possible.

On home premium uncapped - getting full line speed across the board, and no worrying about star ratings.

I avoided the cheapest package because I knew it would have more limitations and require management from my side.

You pay for what you get, and what you get is clearly defined on the site.

I do not download 24/7 but want to download during business hours the occasional time. 99 % sure I'm signing up with CW Home capped 1 June just looks like there support is top notch. I do have a general question though. Can CW put a percentage on how much this happens in there faq, can understand if not. " Home capped is offered as an unshaped service by default, however general network management may result in peer to peer and NNTP protocol speeds being affected during business hours, to ensure that business account holders obtain priority access to the bandwidth they are paying for."

Thanks in advance

This post I just made here - http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthr...-downloads?p=15136572&viewfull=1#post15136572 - will help to explain why even if we did that we'd probably be lying, as contentions vary.
