Dude, seriously...

I'm not a CW fanboy like some of the other guys here, but CW has explained it is such detail. How do you still not understand.

Just take a sec, breathe, and read any one of the above responses from CW. They're all more or less repetition. Ignore what the fanboys are saying and read the official response. It makes perfect sense.

I am a customer on a older version of the T&Cs, the new ones don't apply to me, therefore I am not concerned with what the new T&Cs state, as I am only bound to the old one.

When CW want me to be bound to the new one, they will send me notice and only then will I decide if I want to continue the relationship or not.

CW, you have a PM from me.
I know your inbox is swamped so after the relaxing beer that you need, maybe you can take a look. :)

Please direct this query to [email protected]
Thank you

Please can we have a new thread for people interested in arguing & fighting with Crystal. I like to keep up to date with the feedback thread but it's getting tiresome. I can only imagine how you guys must be feeling having to reply to the endless posts :(

Post of the day!

Agreed! The hate is becoming a bit tedious! If you not happy with a product/service vote with your feet. Simple.

EDIT: I'm not a fan of CW AT ALL (big fan of DJ and Paul though, have nothing but admiration for you gents)!! But they essentially retailers with limited control over the product they selling.

Not 100% true. On capped profiles (non-premium) that's somewhat the case as the profiles are not under our control. We're busy changing that all. As for premium stuff, we control it and manage it all ourselves.

No chance of beer today whatsoever. PM replied to. :)

I'm not trying to start something here and I promise to refrain from posting in here in the future but surely the same should apply for the CW fanboys that enter threads and do nothing but muddy the waters.
People have legitimate issues just like people have legitimate good service.
Maybe we should all allow each other an opinion and keep it to the respective threads?

1) I assume you are a normal customer who registered via the CW website like most customers.
2) I assume you agreed to the terms and conditions as posted on their website at the time of registration/signup.
3) One of those terms states that if they amend the terms and conditions they will notify you.
4) Whether you agree to the changes or are bound to them or if they are enforceable is irrelevant.
5) By not notifying you of the change (whether they choose to enforce the change or not) is the issue.
6) I don't care if you are not bound by the new change technically - I care that people who signed an agreement which states if it's amended you will be notified are not being notified.

Its not notification of enforcement of a change its notification of a change and therein lies the issue.

Apologies if this has been asked before but not in the mood to sift through all the OT nonsense that has come in from that other thread; is there an ETA on when the premium users will have access to the portal?

Has not been amended though. Your argument (which this is) is invalid. You're talking two sets of Ts and Cs, one of which is current for new customers, and another for existing customers, who will only be on the new Ts and Cs after notice is sent.

Again, repetition after repetition after repetition here now. It's getting beyond ridiculous.

Your terms:

As read above you are referring to a change in the agreement. By your own admission you added an entire paragraph to this agreement and hence you made a CHANGE. The quote above does not imply "20 working days notice of any enforcement of a change" but states "20 working days notice of ANY CHANGE".

Any reasonable person would be able to see the difference.

Geez dude.... enough already. They've already said that the changes aren't in effect on any existing customers until they notify... Wow.

Yea, honestly these fanboys do much more harm than good.

If I was a potential customer or an existing customer I would be highly reluctant to post problems/issues/questions as I would fear the wrath of the CW fanboys.

Seriously, your customer base says a lot about you as a company. In a similar way that your friends say a lot about you as a person.

It's one of the reasons I don't use Apple products.

This is a place for discussion and opinion. The dissenting voices should be welcomed as much as the the pro cw voices...

Well I apologise for being ridiculous in your opinion. So how exactly would CW produce an exact copy of the terms and conditions which were in force at the time of a user signing up should they wish to view them retrospectively or enforce the terms? The link your signup page links to is only of the ever-changing version which would no longer be the same set of terms? The link itself implies you agree to the terms and conditions located at the URL and not that you agree to the terms and conditions as they stand?

Any customer can request this copy from us at any time, and will know of any changes made if notice has been served to them as well. If a customer were to request a copy now of the terms, they'd find one clause difference which would not be in their terms.

FFS!! You are not even a CW customer. We are quite capable of caring for ourselves, as well as reading the T's & C's when we signed up. We don't need an ISP nanny to wipe our backsides, with the exception of 1 or 2 that plead ignorance.

Please take you caring and go help out at an animal shelter! :mad:

For the last x amount of pages, as well as in another thread related to CW, this guys has been whining...
Code:
[B]function Z()[/B]
   {
      print( "on and on and on and on and ");
      Z()
   }

He's not even a CW customer but yet he's trying to shout the odds and dictate how they must run their business.
