There's definitely latencies in the Durban/KZN area.

I'm located in Hillcrest and I've been getting 500ms + on Diablo 3 (And my friend, on MWeb, also says his latencies are high).


Also, I will be relocating soon. What is involved in moving the line, considering it is with Crystal Web?
 
Any word on a resolution for the NNTP server speed issue? Currently only getting 1MB/sec to it on a 20mbps line.

Edit: Not the NNTP server, but NNTP in general, it seems. Switched to my usual international server and getting the same low speeds on NNTP.
 
When will single threaded downloads be resolved? Upstream provider has been "working" on this issue for months now...
 
Again - in case it helps track down the issue - image loading / http in general is blistering fast at this time of day.

EDIT: A little bit after 8am, image loading / http takes a dip again. Time-based shaping upstream?

An update would be nice as my newly installed Linux Box is taking forever to update it self.

We've all been incredibly busy with various things. Paul has been doing a lot of work on this one though, as we believe it could truly be beneficial to the industry and to consumers under certain conditions we felt necessary to present officially. You'll find that our submissions all have an element of protecting the market and the consumer at the end of the day.
 
Is Peer to Peer being shaped on the capped accounts? I'm only getting between 115-150KB/s on the 100GB capped account I was given.

I'm not concerned about it if it's just shaping, but after the issues I've had with other ISP's I'm worried that tha problem might actually be my ADSL line.

It is not supposed to be shaped afik, but my account (uncapped) has behaved weirdly today. Maybe contact them on live chat on the website?

It might be the torrent. Torrents run so well on CW that I even stopped using nzb's to get my fix :whistle:
 
I'm downloading an update for War Thunder on my PS4.
9.54 GB = 28 hours.
I'm hoping it is related to updates of the network.
 
performance today is 10/10

if gaming is sorted, and current quality is kept I'll be moving my other lines to CW too :D
