Hi All,

Do I have a reason to complain.
I downloaded my e-mail of 1.92MB it took me more than 20min to complete.
Connected HSDPA signal strength on my B970 routers is -60dBm.
Is this reason enough.

Regards

Still have issues in the Alberton, New Market Park Area. Connects fine for a few seconds, then just stops completely. If I disconnect and reconnect, it is fine again for a few seconds then nothing. I have 5 bars of signal. I had to get a MTN sim and rica it. Works like a bomb.

I understand that a cable was damaged and repaired. but, why are there still issues. I need to game in the evenings, cant have these interruptions...pfft

22:10 22 April 2010

Still seeing serious slow response issues on my 3g datacard. I connect fine, but the throughput is slower than its been for a while.

Anyone else still having response issues?

im reduced to browsing without loading images!!! and that also does not help in most cases - thats how bad its gotten :(

i could post a link to a speedtest result but the site cant load.... i dont remember what Mbs are anymore....

VD - what's going on?

Guys , at this stage you probably know just as much as i do. I will confirm what issues are still around and update you as i go long

Thanx VodacomData for what you try to do. I know what it is when you try to make a difference in a big company (18 years @ hellkom), but sometimes you can do just sooo much..., then you're tied up as well.

I had good response this morning until ±10h00, then it was back to 3G connection with almost no throughput - Alberton, Brackenhurst. Working from home and it is very frustrating, hope it will smooth out soon.

Im GATVOL!

Ive reported my issue to Vodacom and NOTHING. I reported the fault 2 FREAKING WEEKS AGO, and all I got was a call on 22/04 confirming the issue, after I called AGAIN on 15/04. Now tell me... am I RIGHT to be trialling MTN, when this is the kind of service I get from Vodacom? Keep in mind that I work for an Ad delivery company and HAVE to be able to get online anytime.

Details below..

1) Location: Johannesburg SS Turffontein, Kenilworth, Rosettenville
2) Time of issue: all day.
3) Device: Huawei E220
4) Contract Type (pre-paid, contract, hybrid): Contract.
5) Existing reference numbers from 155: S2-5HBB1-1RL2
6) speed.vodacom.co.za results (if possible): Sorry, website does not load :(
Oh yeah V3G, you can reach me on 079 551 0841, cos Im not sure Ill be able to get back on this website.
Also, the only way I get a connection is if I drop to GPRS, and then I ROAM... Now, Ive managed to kill 2 GB in 2 weeks, without ANY external browsing.... 2GB normally lasts the whole month... and I normally have over 500MB left over.

Yes, IM FREAKING GATVOL!

Thank you Voda!

For costing me R200 in useless failed downloads due to your shoddy network yesterday and today!

MTN on 3G wipes your HSDPA off the map!

Thanks again!

Edit:

World Class Network! Full Signal HSDPA and any connection times out within 5-7 minutes. It's fricken awesomeness yo, it's crackalactick my man!

Location: Nelspruit, as if you've ever cared

3G still not working correctly in Magaliesburg. Received an SMS yesterday saying it was poor signal in my area and I must buy a Poynting antenna but that does not explain why it has worked perfectly for the last year or so without an additional antenna! I am not the only one affected in the area but it appears Vodacom is not that interested!

Post above was on the 7th of April!!! 21 Days and the problem is still not resolved!!!!
I wish I could do nothing in my company and still screw my customers over...

still no through pu, even though 3g connection is good. Forced 2g give some through put, but not acceptable after paying for 3g performance. Late, late, evenings seems to be okay...
