Auth issues still at play? Had Telkom around about 10min testing the line/exchange and they did a port reset/recreate and I can no longer sign into my CW account.

Not really. I see you're on live support so will talk there.

This is really annoying as I thought to give your ISP a go again. Firstly I waited more than an hour for log in details to no avail. I hopped on to live chat and got it resend, finally got the email but could not log in due to this issue. Had an engagement somewhere so thought I will give it some time.

Well came back 23h00 and still the same issue. Needless to say this morning same thing now I have to wait till 10h00 for live chat to sort out something that you are aware of?

Chalk it down to bad timing.

Imagine they weren't having issues and you signed up, which would have been painless and almost instant, that would have created a completely different opinion/experience.

It's not capacity, that's for sure. In all likelihood this is a config issue - we don't directly control the config until about a month from now when we take that over, so for the time being I'm a little hamstrung in doing it myself, but we are following up now about the few remaining gremlins.

These are:

HTTP downloads (random - no issues for some, others are seeing some problems)
NNTP downloads (very limited to a few customers not getting full speeds)
Gaming lag (this seems to be game-specific and also isolated, so it's also been reported off to see what's going on - I have looked at this myself and it is classifying correctly on our end so some other sort of config issue is at play here, possibly)

I always thought that slow single threaded performance was just another way of "shaping"?

So, not to be difficult, but that's a bit of a wishy washy answer IMHO :erm:

What causes slow single threads?

Config issue. Which is known to the upstream guys, and what we're working on at the moment.

Capped or uncapped?

I signed up and paid for capped on Monday and it worked fine until Thursday - router logs show "login failed", all other ISP accounts working fine.

Logged a ticket yesterday evening which was acknowledged but still unable to login this morning :(

Likewise. Just got my login details for the 100Gb capped account I won in the competition (Thanks Crystalweb!): not working, not authenticating. Other ISP accounts OK. Sadness :(

Can you hop on to live support and talk to us?

We'll see what's going on for you.

EDIT: I see you are already talking to Mikey on live support. :)

No problem. I suspect you have 3 keyboards, 40 fingers and 8 ears doing what you do!

Just got an update from support to say they're working on the authentication problem :)

We are. Have 3 people on it, and the upstream guys to figure out where the issue lies. Like I said, looks like it could be either Telkom related or some corrupt data somewhere. Either way it's our issue to resolve, which we will.

Apologies for the inconvenience.

@Crystal Web

Since signing up week ago, latency to battle.net has really not been good enough, 350msec. When I switch to my Openweb account its rock solid at 200msec. That in itself should set off the alarm bells over there.

PLEASE fix whatever needs fixing

Hi rakabos,

As above it has been escalated by me.

In addition there is news about the dual network going out shortly as well.

How many months was the prize for?
